Notable Quotes and Testimonials

Testimonials from the previous
One World One Family Cup event.

“I had the privilege to visit the hospital in Palwal 12 years ago and then in Navi Mumbai as well. Both hospitals were brilliant, but there was one thing missing—the cashier’s desk. I’ve never visited a hospital where all treatments are free of cost. I’ve seen parents enter with worried faces but leave with smiles, knowing their child’s life is the biggest gift. A big thank you on behalf of the cricketing fraternity for contributing in every possible way.”
Sachin Tendulkar
Former Indian Cricketer
“The work being done here is fantastic. It’s heartwarming to see so many people benefit—from kids getting educated to people being fed. That’s outstanding.”
Irfan Pathan
Former Indian Cricketer
“Free nutrition, free healthcare is something our country needs. Providing food and healthcare to those who need it brings the biggest happiness. This is the greatest blessing.”
Yuvraj Singh
Former Indian Cricketer
“To consider some people as our own and some as others is the way of narrow-minded people. But for the broad-minded, the whole world is one family. In our institutions, from the watchman to the chairman, we work together with this idea. A family doesn’t thrive on the survival of the fittest but on the survival of the weakest and the most vulnerable.”
Sri Madhusudan Sai
Founder, SMSGHM
"What inspires me most about this mission is the sheer commitment of those involved—flying across continents, working tirelessly—proving that love and service know no boundaries. The message we need to carry to the rest of the world is that nothing is expected in return for what we do. This is the true spirit of the mission."
Aravinda de Silva
Former Sri Lankan Cricketer
“We may play for our countries against each other, but at the end of the day, we are still one world, one family. Just as a family looks after each member, so too must the world care for one another. This is what the game of cricket teaches us—that for everybody to prosper, we need to come together as a team.”
Sunil Gavaskar
Former Indian Cricketer
